How we check every alert

  1. Official sources only

Listings come from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder, each with a link to its notice.

  2. A fit flag, with the reason

Each one is marked Good fit, Possible fit or Large/clinical, less likely, and says why.

  3. Deadlines from the notice

Deadlines are taken from the official notice, and anything closing within 7 days is flagged.

  4. Read by a person

We review every alert ourselves before anything is sent.

How it works

Three ways to help. Use any one on its own.

CareBid is a small, independent service based in Fulham, London.

A weekly tender alert

Every week we check Find a Tender and Contracts Finder and email you a short list of open opportunities that are realistic for a provider like yours, filtered to your services and area, with London first.

Help deciding bid or no-bid

A free tender-fit review by email: tell us about your service, areas and capacity, and we'll send two live tenders that fit, with deadlines and an honest view on whether each is worth the effort.

Bid drafting support

If you decide to bid, we draft the answers, working from your own evidence, and a person reviews every answer before you see it.

We use AI tools to speed up research and first drafts, and every answer is written and checked by us.

How bid support works

  1. Free tender-fit review

You tell us by email about your service, areas and capacity. We then send you two live tenders that fit, with deadlines and an honest bid/no-bid view.

  2. We draft the bid

Working from your CQC report, policies and a short interview, we draft the quality answers, social value and method statements to the buyer's questions and word limits.

  3. You check and submit

We review every answer before you see it. You add final details, sign off and submit on the council portal. The bid stays yours.

What you get

  • Tender alerts filtered to your services and boroughs
  • Near-finished answers to every quality question, within word limits
  • A compliance checklist: deadlines, mandatory documents and selection (PSQ) requirements
  • A short list of evidence gaps to fill, and one round of revisions

What we need from you

  • Your CQC registration and latest report
  • Key policies (safeguarding, recruitment, training, medication, complaints, business continuity)
  • Staffing structure and training records
  • 2–3 anonymised outcome examples
  • Latest accounts and insurance certificates
  • About an hour of your time for an interview and final sign-off
Sample alert

A short email you can read over a cup of tea

Each tender in the weekly alert comes with:

  • the buyer, estimated value and deadline
  • a plain-English summary of what's being bought
  • a note on how well it fits a small provider, and why
  • a link straight to the official notice

Who we are

About CareBid

Based in Fulham, London · A background in finance and analysis

We started CareBid because small care providers often miss council tenders that would suit them, and rarely have a bid team to respond when they do find one. Our work is finding the right opportunities, checking them carefully and helping you put together a strong, honest bid.

We check the sources each week, flag what fits and why, and read everything before it reaches you.

You deal with us directly, not a call centre: [email protected]
Pricing

FAQs

Straight answers

Anything else? Email [email protected] and we'll reply personally.

Will the bid say things that aren't true?

No. Nothing is invented. Every claim in the draft comes from your own evidence, and we read and check every answer before it reaches you. Where evidence is missing, we'll list the gaps for you to fill rather than paper over them.

Can you guarantee we'll win?

No, and nobody honestly can. We'll tell you when a tender isn't worth the effort.

Who submits the bid?

You do. You add final details, sign off and submit on the council's portal. The bid stays yours.

Do you have reviews yet?

Not yet. CareBid is new, and the first providers are on a free month now. When there's real feedback, we'll share it here, with their permission. Until then, the sample alert and the official notices it links to are there for you to check.

Which areas do you cover?

CareBid is starting with providers in South West London. The weekly alert can cover one region or all of England, with London tenders listed first.

What information CareBid holds, and how it's used.

Who we are

CareBid is the data controller for the information described here. Contact: [email protected].

What we hold

Business contact details for care providers, such as the organisation's name, its business email address, the borough it works in and the type of services it is registered for. These come from public sources, such as the CQC register and providers' own websites.

If you ask for bid support, we also hold our correspondence and any documents you choose to share for a bid.

When you sign up for the free month

The signup form collects your work email, your organisation's name if you give it, and a record of your consent: the wording you agreed to and the time you agreed. It also stores your browser type and the country your request came from, to help spot spam. To limit abuse, a temporary counter is kept against a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address. It is deleted automatically after an hour, and your IP address itself is never stored.

We use this to send you the free weekly alert and related updates about CareBid's service. The alert isn't sent automatically: we add you ourselves and will be in touch to start your free month.

Signups are stored in CareBid's Cloudflare account, using Cloudflare Workers KV storage in Cloudflare's EU jurisdiction. Cloudflare may temporarily cache copies on its network outside the UK and EU.

How it's used

  • To contact organisations by email about CareBid's services (business-to-business outreach).
  • To send the weekly alert, and related updates, to people who have signed up or asked for it.
  • To prepare bids for providers who have asked for help. Documents you share are used for your bid only.

We don't sell or share your details with anyone for their own marketing.

Opting out

To unsubscribe from the alert, or if you'd rather not hear from CareBid at all, reply to any email or email [email protected], and we'll remove you and won't contact you again. We keep a short "do not contact" record so that you aren't emailed again by mistake.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to its use, by emailing [email protected]. If you're unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

This site uses no cookies. It counts visits anonymously using Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or identify individual visitors. The site is served over secure HTTPS. Apart from that anonymous count, the only information it receives from you is what you type into the signup form, or send by email.
